Adamstown Public School celebrated Reconciliation Week with a special assembly and community afternoon tea.
Dr Michael Wenham, a Gomeroi man, spoke about the importance of Reconciliation for all Australians. Students from Newcastle High School came and performed on the didgeridoo, and our Aboriginal dancers, Wangga Wunngan Djarr, performed for the first time.
