The Callaghan Education Pathways Recognition Awards Ceremony

The Callaghan Education Pathways Recognition Awards Ceremony is an annual event at which our students, parents and community come together to recognise the outstanding achievements of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

The awards ceremony provides an opportunity to acknowledge students who have excelled in the areas of Academic Achievement, Demonstrated Improvement, Engagement in Learning and Special Achievements. A strong community identity and pride was promoted through performances by the Callaghan College Choir singing the National anthem in Awabakal. A Dancelink was also performed by the girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 12 as well as the Year 6-11 boys of Callaghan College Yidaki group.

The Recognition Awards Ceremony is supported by the Muloobinbah AECG, Director of Education — Callaghan/Port Stephens, representatives from the Department of Education, and community members.
